Learning to manage your emotions can be achieved

Emotion makes us human.

We describe someone lacking in emotion as robotic, cold, or inhumane.

We describe someone too emotional as dramatic, irrational, or unstable.

So, where’s the balance?


We’ve all been there. Maybe you’re going through a breakup, stressed about a deadline, or just stormed out of a fight. Maybe bitter words and comebacks preoccupy your thoughts, or you just can’t stop obsessing over what’s going to happen. But, you still have to show up to work or school and move forward. How?


Our minds are built to find this balance. We have the full potential and ability to control our actions and perceptions. Just as any other muscle needs exercising, emotional management just takes some practice (and a whole lot of patience).


We suggest Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—the most widely-researched and “gold standard” form of therapy.


CBT targets the connection between our thoughts and behaviors.
